The wedding ceremony will take place on 3 February at Sandstone House, Franschhoek

Although our wedding celebration will take place in South Africa, our official civil ceremony will be held in Belgium on 28 February 2026 at 12:00 at the Stadhuis in Sint-Niklaas. You are warmly invited to join us there as well, please feel free to contact us for more information.
LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR SPECIAL THREE-DAY EVENT
Join us as we celebrate in the warmth of the South African summer and enjoy a three-day wedding experience together. All guests will be accommodated for two nights across three beautiful venues, and you can view your room allocation below. Transport between your accommodation and all event locations is fully included throughout the celebration. We’ll meet at our designated meeting point on Monday, 2 February, from where our wonderful team will guide and transport you for the duration of the event until we conclude on 4 February.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Day 1 – Monday, 2 February
9:00 AM
ARRIVAL
Arrive at our meeting spot, Fransvliet Guesthouse in Franschhoek. Cars and luggage can be safely stored and parked at the meeting spot.
9:30 AM - 3:00 PM
WINE TOUR
Begin a guided wine tour with the group (transport and lunch provided).
Dress code: casual day outfit – please keep in mind that February in South Africa can be very hot.
Afternoon:
FREE TIME
Return to Fransvliet, then be transported to your accommodation to check in, or you may drive there yourself if you have your own car. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at your accommodation.
6:30 PM
SPITBRAAI
Guests should be ready for transport from Droom Guesthouse and Sandstone House to Fransvliet, where the evening event will take place. Join us for a traditional South African spitbraai.
Dress code: smart casual (evenings can get chilly; bermuda shorts are allowed for men). Shuttles will be available throughout the evening to take guests back to their accommodation.
Day 2 – Tuesday, 3 February
Morning:
BREAKFAST
Enjoy a free morning with breakfast at your accommodation. Complimentary shuttles will run into Franschhoek town for guests who’d like to explore the picturesque village, and there is also a padel court at Fransvliet available for guests to enjoy.
GETTING READY
Ladies are invited to join the pamper and book a hairdresser slot if they wish. Interest can be shown through the button below. A schedule with timeslots and logistics will be shared closer to the event.
3:00 PM
WEDDING
Guests should be ready for transport to the main wedding celebration, beginning with the ceremony and followed by dinner and evening festivities. Shuttles will be available throughout the evening to take guests back to their accommodation. Dress code: summer chic.
Day 3 – Wednesday, 4 February
Morning:
BREAKFAST
Enjoy a free morning with breakfast at your accommodation.
11:30 AM
CHECK-OUT AND DEPARTURE
Guests should check out of their accommodation and be ready for transport to Val de Vie, or they may drive themselves if they have their own car.
12:00 PM
WELCOME DRINKS
Guests are invited to our home for welcome drinks. Dress code: casual (bermuda shorts allowed for men).
1:30 PM
POLO LUNCH
Join us for lunch at the Polo Club at Val de Vie, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and the beautiful surroundings with fellow guests.
4:00 PM
POLO MATCH
Watch an exciting polo match at Val de Vie and soak in the fun, vibrant atmosphere of this classic South African sport.
6:00 PM
THE END
Farewell, marking the conclusion of our three-day wedding experience.

To help us prepare for the main wedding celebration, we kindly ask all guests to pre-select their main course for the event. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please indicate these as well so we can ensure everyone is catered for.
